Made in France
April and May have flown by. We received the 2014 collections from our editors: Canovas, Larsen, Rubelli, Lelievre, Nobilis, Elitis, Pollack, Weitzner, Houles and Zoffany. While updating all of these collections, we officially launched the PIERRE FREY group on April 1. Pierre Frey, Boussac, Fadini Borgi, Braquenie and Le Manach have joined the Elements Fine Furnishing Fabrics grow of editors. We are excited to have this wonderful group with us.
Many of you are familiar with the Pierre Frey group as they have been represented in Manila for many years. This year in February they launched a new campaign #MADEINFRANCE to highlight what makes Pierre Frey special:
“Because French artisans are men and women of talent…
Because creating a fabric involves several steps and several crafts : the archives, the creative studio, the dyer, the hand screen printer, the weaver, the moireur, the upholsterer…
Because La Maison Pierre Frey is one of the rare fabric houses to still produce 70% of its fabrics in France thanks to its own mill, a facility that has been awarded theFrench Living Heritage designation.
We called upon young film director Antoine de Barry to show, with a fresh perspective, how “Made in France” is now more than ever a real guarantee ofquality and taste.”
